I called at a friends the other week just to have a rummage through all his aircraft junk and what did I find?.................A complete hand controller for the turret!
As you can gather we had a quick chat over it and agreed a swop...........job done!

Here it is in all its glory just waiting to be fitted , I think the next jobs are the remanufacture of the seat and an outer traversing ring. :D

I had a stroke of good luck ,just so happened to be in contact with the chaps from Windsor in Canada who were in need of some Lancaster tail turret parts. they had managed to obtain the cupola frame and I agreed they could have all my FN120 tail turret parts ,what little I had.
In exchange I could have all their surplus M250 parts which so happened to be over at East Kirby in the UK where the Lancaster just jane is located.
I also agreed to collect their rear cupola from Cumbria and deliver it to east Kirby , on arrival I met Andrew Panton who now is in charge of looking after Just Jane and was surprised in the fact he also gave me all their surplus M250 parts as well!
It was a long day but well worth it , if you are ever passing call in its a must!
sorry about the quality of the first picture but as you can see theres some good stuff and that's not all of it. The other pics are of the main electrical panel being lined up with the new seat base , one of the side panels after being painted and I`m trying to make one fire interrupter out of three. ;)
