Here is a couple of photos of B-24 "Joe". It was owned by Dave Tallichet when these photos were taken. It is now owned by Kermit Weeks in Florida. This aircraft was named "Delectible Doris", but the nose art was repainted the weekend we took these photos. I don't think it has been flown since Mr. Weeks bought it.

B-24-J "All American", owned by the Collings Foundation. Only photo I have of the Nose Art with the map of USA. The starboard side was painted "Schlitz", a sponsor. Also all the names on the fusilage are sponsor names. It has since been repainted at least twice. The next paint scheme was a Pacific Theater B-24 named "Dragon and It's Tail", and currently it is Olive Drab named "Witchcraft".

B-24A/LB30 "Ol 927", formally known as "Diamond Lil". Owned and operated by the Commemorative Air Force. Restored to it's original paint scheme when it was built. Only difference is the national insignia. The a/c was intended to go to the RAF. But an accident occurred and it was held back and converted to LB 30 standards.(cargo) It is being put back into the bomber configuration as it was built. Bombay doors will be fitted in the future.

Two B-24's at "Thunder Over Michigan" Airshow, August 2008. "Ol 927" and "Witchcraft". Witchcraft is the repainted Collings Foundation Lib. It was parked way out away from the crowd, so up close photos there didn't happen for me.

Three photos of B-24A/LB-30 "Diamond Lil". Owned by the Commemorative Air Force. This is the paint job before it was repainted as "Ol 927"
