With the bucket tearing into the turf finds quickly began revealing themselves after more then 65 years of concealment under a Norfolk meadow.

I can't read the full part number, but GK32Gxxx would indicate a B-24 fuel system (i.e. Gas) part, patterned from a Ford drawing.
GK32Oxxx would be for the Oil system I believe, the 32 being the Consolidated Aircraft Corporation title for the B-24, the Model 32.

Had a look at a small panel I picked up from weybread and i have uncovered a part no starting 97- am I right that this is from an A-36 apache?

Looks like a panel with the radio destruct push buttons ?

Any ideas

97-xxx would tend to indicate A-36, although there is at least one part on a B-17G with that prefix...

The destruct button panel on the A-36 is a square plate with the pushbuttons centred in the upper half, it looks like the standard control box bolts on to the back of the panel.

And how did it end up with all the other bits?, were any A-36's based in the U.K, I believe the RAF had one for a trial, any idea on how this could of got here?
