Although we only attended Damyns this year, due to various logistic issues preventing us from getting all the equipment to events, it seems word has got around and current plans are for us to attend the following events in 2015. Any of the A,C & U Heroes board members are more than welcome to join us, (including Mike!!) although period AAF ground crew attire is a pre-requisite on Display days (ie; no Flyboys!)

Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th May (Bank Holiday Weekend)
WW2 Day at The Squadron, North Welad Airfield, Essex
For 2015, this event is going ahead regardless of the numbers confirmed to attend. It's an informal event with no 'public day', just a chance for those with an interest in BoB/WW2/RAF/AAF to have a relaxed event, with overnight camping on this historic airfield.

Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th July
World War 2 day at the Gardens of Easton Lodge, Nr Dunmow, Essex.
Set on the edge of the old 386th BG(M) airfield at Little Easton, there are 17 acres of historically important gardens associated with the Manor House at Easton Lodge. Setup on Saturday afternoon, in preparation for the Sunday. There is space available for any USAAF or RAF related displays to attend if they wish.

Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th August
EHMVA Military & Flying Machines, Damyns Hall, Nr Upminster, Essex
Our main event of the year, with a 140' display area. Setup from Thursday, meeting old friends and a relaxed build-up to the weekend on the Friday, leading to the Public Days & Airshow on Saturday & Sunday. TBC - Battle re-enactment between USAAF Mechanics and Luftwaffe Ground Crew - on bicycles! This will take place outside of Public hours, probably.

September 2015, Date TBC
Bottisham Airfield Museum. A great day out at the newly aquired site, housed in some of the original 361st FS buildings. If you were there on the opening day back on 28th September, you'll know the hard work and dedication that has gone into securing this museum, not to mention the superb P-51 display from Maurice Hammond in Janie.

We also expect to be at a couple of USAAF specific events in Norfolk & Suffolk and might even make an appearance at W&P Revival in 2015, although I'll post more info once these are confirmed.
