We were invited to take part in a small weekend event in Godolphin - Cornwall the past weekend, It was only a small village nearby so nothing huge, we had an awesome weekend with an incredible amount of people interested in learning something about the USAAF.
Here are some of the photo's that were taken,
We do have alot more kit that we were unable to take as we only had so much room in one car

The .50 is a full scale replica that we are using as a "base defense" weapon for now, We need to make some changes to it to make it an aircraft mounted version.
The Jeep mount is original and we do have an original AA mount that usually goes with it but we couldn't fit it in the car.

That's great. Imagine what kind of display we could put on if everyone on the forum with gear all met up at one location!

Trouble is we would have so much gear an actual mission could be generated.

What a great idea? As been suggested before, so who would like to take the planing of it all on?

MIKE.

The main changes would be the barrel assembly.

Instead of your version with a barrel on show a ventilated jacket would have to be substituted.

You can use my original as a piece to copy from.

I believe we had a thread a while back talking about a mass display, I can't remember who was trying to sort it out now.
As for the barrel, I messaged someone the other day regarding a copy as they said they had some made but they didn't get back to me :(
I have the trunion that goes against the reciever, just need the jacket and barrel to sit in it now
